Hiawatha National Forest
Known as “the Great Lakes National Forest,” Hiawatha National Forest is located in the central and eastern portions of the Upper Penninsula. Nestled between Lake Superior, Lake Huron, and Lake Michigan, Hiawatha National Forest is full of woodlands, wetlands, and waterfalls to explore all year long.
Along the shores of Lake Superior is America’s first National Lakeshore. With over 40 miles of shoreline and 100 miles of trails, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a perfect destination for any nature explorer.
