Lansing State Capitol

Since 1879, Lansing has served as Michigan’s state capitol. Built during the Victorian era, the capitol building is an architectural wonder. Citizens are invited to take guided tours to learn more about the grand structure and our working government.

Potter Park Zoo

Along the Red Cedar River, Potter Park Zoo is full of adventure! Bring a picnic lunch and spend the day exploring the 100 acre park featuring over 400 animals. Visitors are also encouraged to enjoy a camel ride, visit the petting zoo, and playground.
